I’m sad to say April 26th will be my last workshop. The city of Hollister has a law that all direct sale companies need to have a business license. I will continue to have my blog and display art with Close to my Heart products. Products can be ordered online and delivered to your home. We can still scrapbook together, but I can not provide the products.

I have gone round and round with the City over this issue! So sorry to hear it has affected you. I choose to "close" my home business this year for that reason, but I am missing it, so I may "restart" next year and pay the $120 license. What bothers me most is that I was classified as a "solicitor" which has a higher fee even though I was very clear that I do not make cold calls or sell door to door.
